Tae Kwon Do
Tae Kwon Do is the study of kicking and punching. The national sport of Korea, Tae Kwon Do is now an Olympic event. The various foot and hand techniques are over 17 centuries old and are adaptable for self-defense and sparring competitions. Through the process of developing the self: self-training, self-discipline, self-confidence, self-defense; the student learns to respect others and promote goodwill. The practice of Tae Kwon Do promotes a positive and healthy life.
Hapkido Hapkido is the study energy in harmony. Once restricted only to the korean royal court, Hapkido is a self-defense martial art that emphasizes kicking, punching, throwing and pressure points.The focus is on avoiding or stopping any attack and then disabling the attacker. You use only the force that is necessary under the circumstances. This knowledge comes with great responsibility, and therefore mental and spiritual discipline is absolutely required.
